‘The Bachelor’: What has rumored candidate Jef Holm convinced Chris Harrison to do?

While we may not know whether or not Jef Holm is going to become the latest star of “The Bachelor” just yet, we at least know now that the man at the center of so many rumors is spending a little bit of time with host Chris Harrison.

How so? In a new post on Twitter, Emily Maynard’s ex confirmed that he had convinced Harrison to join the social phenomenon Snapchat, and even ended up sharing an official username for the world to see: “Talked @chrisbharrison into getting snapchat last night haha. Everyone give him a warm welcome! realcharrison.”

We’re not going to sit here necessarily and analyze the idea of seeing Harrison telling people on Snapchat that they have reached the final rose of the night, but it does perhaps serve as more proof that the folks associated with this show are becoming more and more in tune to everything that is happening in the world of social media. We already knew some of this, though, judging from the fact that Harrison recently launched an app to help get people more and more involved in the dating world.

If Jef does end up becoming “The Bachelor,” we think that having a good rapport with Chris certainly helps. Of course, so does having a large fan base behind you, and a story that would make viewers want to root for you. He and Drew Kenney are the main candidates right now (pending Drew doesn’t win Desiree Hartsock’s heart this season), and we were actually surprised to see that the guy already has over 50,000 Twitter followers.
