‘Big Brother 15’ live feed spoilers: Jeremy’s racist remark, more conflict, some strategy

Jeremy McGuire

While we saw a bounty of racist remarks and negativity in the “Big Brother 15” house on Sunday night, much of it took place a few days ago, and since that time, it was at least starting to feel as though a couple of houseguests were starting to get the hint. Not so much, and this time it’s coming from Jeremy.

Basically, Mr. Cocky Himself decided to get involved in the ongoing controversy for the season by making a comment that brought race into the equation by stereotyping that “Africans” tend to draw flies after one landed on him for whatever reason. Howard was literally sitting next to him when he said it, but then quickly got up to leave. (It is clear from the editing point of view that CBS wants Howard to go far in this competition, since he continues to be portrayed in a glowing light amidst the racist behavior.)

We don’t quite understand why Jeremy is not becoming less awful when it comes to trying to save himself, since he is almost surely heading out the door come Thursday. The only possibly-interesting wrinkle in this could be whether or not Kaitlin votes to save him. She has been promised some sort of protection by Helen thanks to her agreeing to use the Veto on herself, which she feels she has to do since she would be otherwise evicted from the house. Basically, this pact seems to be Helen, Elissa, Kaitlin, and Andy, with the latter once again doing a great job of being involved in every conversation and not having anyone really interested in targeting him at all. Andy’s been such a non-entity that you would barely even know that he was there from watching the show, but he’s not an absentee player like some were at least at times last year; his moves are just subtle, and not always great TV.

The other major highlight of the day was the houseguest photo shoot with the HoH camera, which led to GinaMarie once again showing her “admiration” (otherwise known as desperation) for Nick by writing “miss you” on a ball.
