‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 15 spoilers: Raul Esparza promoted to series regular
This promotion by the actor to series regular status was first reported by Deadline, and for Esparza it has to bring with it a certain level of job security. It always feels nice to be wanted, especially with a show that clearly knows what it wants a full decade and a half on the job.
So can Raul help to keep the show fresh moving forward? That is basically the challenge that both him and a number of other actors who appear on the show continually face. Everyone has to worry constantly about whether or not there is anything new that “SVU” can really do after all these years, but they manage to continue to find a way. With that being said, we do wonder whether or not season 15 could be the show’s grand finale; it is a nice number to go out on, and the ratings have been dropping steadily over the past several seasons.
What do you think about this news, and do you find yourself still excited for “Law & Order: SVU” episodes in the same way that you were over a decade ago?
