Wednesday season 3 premiere date: A July 2026 update
Is there a chance that we are going to be hearing more regarding Wednesday season 3 between now and the end of the month? Where exactly are things behind the scenes?
Of course, the first order of business here has to be simply confirming the great news that production is still happening, just as it has been for the past several months. We know that we are inching closer to the point when Jenna Ortega and everyone else will be wrapped but as so many of you know, this is not an altogether easy show to make. Consider all the moving parts! Not only do you have production itself, but then the visual effects and weeks / months of promotion.

What we are trying to say is that most of July is likely going to be a ghost town when it comes to the future of Wednesday and if we are lucky, we are going to have a chance to see it back at some point in the spring or summer of next year. Anything before that ultimately just feels like false optimism. Netflix shows have a knack for having two-year gaps between seasons and given what we have seen with other series over the years, this may not even be that bad.
As for what the story is going to be for Wednesday moving forward, a lot is going to be tied to Ophelia based on the cliffhanger that we had at the end of season 2. This means of course more opportunities to dive into the Addams Family lore, but we hope none of the other characters are forgotten about here in the process.
