Bad Monkey season 2 premiere date: A July 2026 update
Is there a chance that we are going to be hearing anything more about a Bad Monkey season 2 between now and the end of the month?
Mae no mistake here that we understand anyone who is already a little agitated with the long wait that exists between seasons. This is, unfortunately, par for the course for some shows out there, especially over on Apple TV. Just look at what we have seen in regards to Severance already, or what we may be dealing with as we eventually brace for Pluribus to return.

If there is more good news to report on the Bad Monkey front, it is that the second season has in fact wrapped filming and at this point, we are just waiting for some more news to eventually surface. Will that happen this month? It is possible but at the same time, we would not file this away as confirmed by any means.
Instead, the major thing that we can say is that we are going to see Vince Vaughn and the rest of the cast back at some point moving into the end of the year. We do think that around the time Ted Lasso season 4 ends, this show could come back. It does make a good bit of sense for Apple to effectively go from one Bill Lawrence show to another, mostly due to the fact that he is one of the biggest hit-makers out there. Also, it may take a while longer to get another Lawrence show back in Shrinking.
One more thing to remember
The second season of Bad Monkey is going to be based on an original story, and not the novel Razor Girl. That could still be utilized in the future.
