Big Brother 28 cast reveal: Our current expectations

In the wake of all the information we got yesterday, it is fair to assume that a Big Brother 28 cast reveal is incoming soon. However, when will it be? What all can we expect? This is where some of the mystery lies.

Historically, it does feel fair to say that we are likely not going to get any more substantial news on the subject this week. Given that the July 4 holiday is right around the corner, it makes little to no sense for CBS to bury some of that amidst everything else that is happening. Over the past few years they have been more inclined to get news out there 2-3 days before the premiere, and this is why we would look out for announcements on either Monday or Tuesday. This makes the most sense and of course, it still gives everyone a chance to get to know the players.

Now that we’ve said all of this, here is where we would say to exercise at least a small amount of caution, as there is a chance we do not learn the full cast until premiere night. Remember what was done last season with Rachel? There is certainly a chance that we see something similar here, where some reveals happening days after the initial cast is unveiled. That could prove to be even more the case here given the fact that there are rumors aplenty about returning players or stars from other reality shows.

The one thing that we can say with some confidence is quite simple: Big Brother, like so many other reality shows out there, is likely looking at the success of The Traitors and other reality shows that prove there is a benefit that comes with established talent.
