American Horror Story season 13: A Kathy Bates surprise

As so many people out there know at the present, an American Horror Story season 13 is currently in production over at FX. This is going to be coming later this year and from what we’ve heard so far, there are going to be a ton of familiar faces throughout!

What we know so far is honestly pretty darn simple: Some of the returning cast members include the likes of Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett and more. We’ve also known for a while that Kathy Bates is going to be coming back, but there is a new twist in her appearance that comes as a pretty major surprise.

As a part of a new interview with Deadline, the actress indicated that she is only going to be in New York filming the new season for a single day; meanwhile, she also indicated the general idea behind the Ryan Murphy production in general:

“I think the new season is the all-stars, so they are bringing back all the old ones.”

We are aware at the moment that the all-stars could presumably encompass multiple seasons. After all, remember at the moment that we haven people from Coven but at the same time, John Carroll Lynch is going to be coming back as Twisty the Clown. This is very-much exciting but at the same time, how will all of this factor into a specific narrative? That is the thing that the show really does have to figure out here in general.

Hopefully, we are going to be getting some more insight on what is coming up story-wise between now and when we actually dive into the story once more.
