The Way Home season 4 episode 10: An extended series finale

As many of you may know at this point, The Way Home season 4 episode 10 is coming to Hallmark Channel this Sunday. Also, it is going to be the series finale. We hardly love the idea of saying goodbye to Kat, Del, Alice, or anyone else; yet, at the same time it is nice to have closure and not some feeling that we are saying goodbye without major loose ends tied together.
So now that we have said that, why not dive further into the run time? We know that the preview for the finale noted that it is an extended episode, but just how much should we expect here?

Well, according to some of the TV Guide listings for this episode, we can say that, commercials included, it is going to run for 94 minutes. This means that we’re basically getting a feature-length story that allows the writers and producers proper time to tie things together. We can’t sit here and guarantee that every loose end is going to be put together properly, especially since this is a show about life and life is messy. Even though time-travel is a central part of this overall narrative, at the same time this is a show about people, their history, and also their hearts. No supernatural occurrences will ever change that.
If you have not seen the full The Way Home season 4 episode 10 synopsis yet, it sets the stage for what is coming in a pretty big way:
Across generations, endings and new beginnings arrive for the Landry family and their loved ones, as the pond always brings surprises.
