Chicago PD season 14 premiere date: A June 2026 update

Is there a chance that we are going to learn something more about Chicago PD season 14 between now and the end of the month? We know that the crime drama is coming back for more, but what exactly is it going to look like?

Well, first things first, we really should kick things off here by simply noting that season 14 is on the NBC fall schedule. The hope is that we’re looking for a start in September or early October and if that does happen, a premiere-date reveal is going to be imminent. We could be learning exact details … but this month? That remains to be seen.

Our general feeling here is that like with the rest of One Chicago, our general feeling is that we’re going to get a date reveal by the middle of July. The reason this makes sense here for NBC is that it gives them several months to properly promote the show during America’s Got Talent and some of their other summer hits.

Will there be any big changes for season 14?

At the time of this writing, let’s just say that remains to be seen. There was noting that the end of season 13 that suggested there needs to be some and even if the cast does fluctuate to some extent, Chicago PD does have a formula that clearly seems to work for them right now. After all, each season features some larger cases along with some story-of-the-week plots that shift and change. Characters do get some spotlights, and we do not expect every single episode to feature all of the cast.

As for whether or not this is going to be the final season, that appears unlikely. Why would NBC end something that clearly seems to be successful for them?
