Love Island USA season 8 episode 10 preview: New couple chaos?

As we get prepared to see Love Island USA season 8 episode 10 on Peacock Sunday night, it feels like we are getting a reset in some ways.

After all, consider the fact that there are four new couples in the villa. You have Sincere & Sol, Jen & Gabriel, Caleb & Kenzie, and then Melanie & Corbin. For Melanie, she does have a chance at something new after everything that happened with Sincere. However, this did mean that we’ve reached the end of the road for Beatriz this season. Her exit was legitimately emotional, and Gabriel has to move forward now as a part of a new pair.

So are any of these relationships going to work? Of the group, Kenzie & Caleb feels the most obvious just because of their similar background and the fact that she was strongly considering him already. Corbin did try to get a kiss from Melanie in the past, so could they find a way to build some chemistry moving forward? We’ll say maybe.

At this point, it does feel easy to say that the established pairs are the ones with the most long-term potential. KC & Aniya and Zach & Kayda both feel as strong as almost any pair that we’ve had a chance to see on the series over the years. Bryce & Trinity still have some potential, but he’s also caused enough problems to make us think that he is not as invested in this relationship as we’re seeing elsewhere. (At least he is nice enough to be blunt with Trinity in advance? That could also put more seeds of doubt in her mind at the same time…)
