Chicago Med season 12 premiere date: A June 2026 update

Is there any chance that we are going to hear more about a Chicago Med season 12 premiere date between now and the end of June? We may not have to tell you this, but the desire for more is absolutely there. The season 11 finale did raise a lot of interesting questions about the future, and we do think that at this point, we have a pretty good balance between procedural stories and then narratives meant to last a little bit longer.

First and foremost, we do think it is valuable to start off here with a reminder that the medical drama is on the fall schedule for NBC, meaning that you do not have to worry at all about whether or not something is changing. The plan remains for filming to start later in the summer, and for us to get some sort of return in either September or October.

Now, we just have to turn over to when a specific date could be revealed. Is there a chance it happens this month? In theory yes but if so, we are thinking late June more so than anything that is coming in the next week or two. Realistically, though, July makes the most sense for some specific dates to be revealed. If that happens, that still allows NBC to have a solid few months in order to promote the next chapter, which we do personally feel is more than enough time.

Now that we’ve said all of that, is there a chance that Chicago Med is going to make some other announcements this month? We suppose that they could always say something more on the cast front but otherwise, we do not imagine them rushing to state a whole lot more for the time being.
