The bad news when it comes to Destination X season 2 over on NBC right now is rather simple: We will be waiting a while for it. Based on what the network is currently saying, we are going to be waiting to see the Jeffrey Dean Morgan hosted show return until 2027.

However, in the meantime, isn’t it nice to at least know some of the people who will be turning up? The network has unveiled the people taking part, and they include familiar faces from Survivor, Big Brother, and another NBCUniversal hit in Love Island. We saw some of this casting for last season, and we’re hardly shocked to see that continue now.

If you did not see the first season of the series for whatever reason, take a look at how NBC describes it below:

In this high-stakes travel competition series hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the world is turned into a real-life gameboard as complete strangers embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Traveling aboard the blacked-out Destination X bus, contestants blindly journey across Europe with one goal in mind: figuring out where the “X” they are.

In each episode, players are immersed in extraordinary destinations where iconic landmarks, local culture and tourist attractions are transformed into experiential challenges. To uncover their location and gain an edge in the competition, contestants must rely on their knowledge, powers of observation and problem-solving abilities. But discovering the right destination is only half the challenge.

As the contestants eat, sleep, and travel together through some of the world’s most breathtaking locations, the game becomes increasingly strategic. Alliances form, rivalries emerge and every conversation could contain a valuable clue or a deliberate misdirection. With each step of the competition carrying real consequence, players must determine who can help them get closer to the truth, who poses the greatest threat, and who should face the dreaded Map Room. There, the player who places an X on a map farthest from the actual location is at risk of leaving the competition. Throughout this epic journey, these adventurers are eliminated one by one. In the end, the first player to reach the final “Destination X” will win the $250,000 grand prize.

Out of the group mentioned Dan remains the most shocking — but a lot of that is due to his multiple retirements from reality TV already.
