Love Island USA season 8 episode 7: Did Sincere & Melanie break up?

We knew heading into Love Island USA season 8 episode 7 that there was potential for us to learn quite a bit of different stuff. This is what happens when you have Jen, Sol, and Caleb stepping into the villa for the first time!
The whole intention was for these three to cause some carnage in the already-established relationships, and it feels fair to say that happened and then some. Sincere felt immediately all about Sol, which was hardly a shock given the time that he’d spent with Melanie. The two were absolute chaos; Sincere eventually kissed Sol, and then claimed that he would be the one to tell Melanie in due time. (We’ve felt for a while that this duo was doomed, mostly because it never felt like all the cards were on the table.)

Sincere did tell Melanie about the kiss, only to then say “nobody could really compare to you.” What does that mean? That’s not the sort of thing that anyone wants to hear after something like this happens. They are not officially done, but it is easy to imagine they will be.
As for the the other duos in jeopardy, this is where we turn to Kenzie and Corbin, which really isn’t a huge deal when you consider the fact that they were barely together. Caleb is totally her type and we do think they are destined to end up together at some point. Then, you have Gabriel kissing Jen and having a long conversation with her, which may mean that Gabriel and Beatriz could be in some jeopardy. With a lot of these pairings, it really is going to be about communication — it’s not quite there for Sincere and Melanie.
