America’s Got Talent: Rynia Kando impersonates Ariana Grande

Tonight on NBC you are going to have a chance to see a new America’s Got Talent episode — so why not meet Rynia Kando now? We have seen impersonators on the show before, but it is almost always better when they add another dimension into the mix.

Take, for example, the ability to sing — something that we are certainly happy to get more into now.

If you head over to TV Insider right away, you can see another sneak peek for this upcoming episode that features her doing the singing voice of both Christina Aguilera and Ariana Grande — and also killing it in both regards. She sounds almost identical to them, complete with all the runs!

Now, for those wondering if Kando has been doing this for a while, the simple answer is yes. Like many other AGT contestants these days, she is coming onto the show with a fairly sizable following both on YouTube in addition to Instagram. While she is clearly a talented singer in her own right, we do think her impersonations help her to stand out for one simple reason: There are just not a lot of people bold enough to even try something like this! We are talking here about voices that are really difficult to nail and beyond that, it probably takes a lot of practice to nail all the various wrinkles of Aguilera and Grande’s voices.

Ultimately, we do think that Rynia will have no problem getting the votes necessary to move on. The bigger question for us is how she can stand out in the later rounds, given that everyone will now know her talent and just what she can bring to the table.
