NCIS: Origins season 3 premiere date: A JJune 2026 update

With us now set to dive deeper into the month of June, is more great news on NCIS: Origins season 3 on the horizon? We do not blame anyone who does want to start getting a better sense of what is to come.

First and foremost, we would argue that the real selling point of the show at this point is the chance to really see Gibbs and Lala together. These two characters finally made the leap at the end of last season and per what Mark Harmon the narrator told us, they are going to be happy for a time. Unfortunately, the reality here remains that “for a time” does not equal forever, and we are going to be moving steadily towards a point where something happens. Lala is never brought up on the original show and because of that, it is certainly easy to imagine that whatever transpires here is painful.

Now, is there a chance that we are going to get some more news regarding NCIS: Origins season 3 before the month is over? We do think there is at least a slight chance, but that is also not a guarantee of anything. The reality here is that some patience may still be required as we get from point A to point B. An exact premiere date, at the latest, could turn up next month, and we could see the show itself make its grand return in September or October.

One last thing to remember is that season 3 of Origins will have a shorter overall episode count after all, CBS is going to be saving midseason for the upcoming season of NCIS: Sydney.
