The Way Home season 4 episode 9 spoilers: Last before finale

Next week on the Hallmark Channel, you are going to have a chance to dive more into The Way Home season 4 episode 9. As you would imagine, this one is enormous for the series and for a multitude of reasons.

Where do we start here? Well, it is worth noting at this point that there are only a few episodes remaining until everything ends. That is, without question, a pretty hard pill to swallow.

New Year’s Eve in 1925 brings into focus the Landry and Augustine families’ destiny, and Elliot and Kat witness it; in another time, Alice does the same.

No matter what happens on this particular holiday, we recognize that the events here are going to very much continue moving into the series finale and beyond just that, it is clearly the goal that they do. We are looking at a show here that is working to try to create new drama and surprises around every turn. Do we think that everything is going to be neatly packed together at the end of the finale? Absolutely not, mostly because this is not the way that life works and within that, it would be almost silly to think we are going to get something similar here.

Instead, all we can really hope for here is that there is going to be an opportunity for us all to feel emotionally satisfied by the time we get to the closing credits. If the series can pull that off, we can walk away from all of this with a real sense of emotional satisfaction.
