Dutton Ranch season 1 episode 6 preview: Beth’s new plan

As we get prepared in order to see Dutton Ranch season 1 episode 6 on Paramount+ next week, what more can be said about the story?

Of course, the main event at this point seems to be whatever Beth could potentially uncover as a part of her new mission at Beulah’s ranch. She met with her to discuss what could be a successful future for both of them, one that would include her being able to help to sell some high-end beef to keep the 10-Petal Ranch afloat and successful for a rather long time moving into the future. This would obviously help both Beth and Rip find some momentary profit while they rebuild their herd … but also, give Kelly Reilly’s character a chance to learn all of her secrets. She is not leveraging the Dutton family name, so she can continue to work with a larger goal down the road.

Where things get all the more fascinating is Rip telling her about the body he found at the start of the season. In other words, he is giving Beth an opportunity to go into this knowing that they have some ammunition that they can eventually use at a certain point. It remains to be seen just how they will go about doing something here, but it definitely feels like they will. Why would we think anything otherwise with a show like this? You do not drop some juicy reveals here unless you have an absolute intention to pay them off at some point later.

Also, remember that moving forward, Rob-Will is about to be that much more involved! That raises the stakes to yet another level and from where we sit, that is a good thing for a show that really should be getting as crazy as possible as we get closer and closer to the finale.
