Only Murders in the Building season 6 premiere date: June update

Is there any chance we are going to hear something more on Only Murders in the Building season 6 between now and the end of June? Certainly, we recognize that the desire for more of the show is there — getting it anytime soon, however, is a totally different story.

A natural place to kick off this update is simply stating where things stand behind the scenes. Filming for the latest batch of episodes has already kicked off in London, which is a unique location compared to the prior season. From what we understand, everything at present is going to be shot in the United Kingdom this season, even including any potential scenes set in New York. (Of course, that is subject to change.) Filming is kicking off a little bit later than usual this season, and we imagine that it is going to take place over the course of most of the summer.

Because we are still fairly early into the start of production for season 6, we do regrettably think that we are not going to be getting a lot more news in the relatively near future and with that, some patience is going to be required. While it may very much prove to be worth the wait, there is still the process of getting there and that does take a considerable amount of time.

Ultimately, we would still love Only Murders to come back this year but if that happens, we are not going to find out in the immediate future. For now, we tend to think that the earliest we will get some sort of official announcement there is close to the end of the fall. Some patience could be required!
