Pluribus season 2: Does the cast know anything further?

At this point, it is likely obvious how eager we are to learn at least something more on Pluribus season 2. Several months have passed at this point since the first season wrapped and we know that in that time, Vince Gilligan and his team have been working to craft the next chapter.

Would we love to say that they are pushing forward at a quick, productive pace? Sure, but this is not one of those shows that works like that. Apple TV has been as creator-driven a streaming service as you are ever going to find, meaning that they will allow everyone the chance to tell their stories in whatever time or space that they need. They’ve done this with Severance and based on what we are seeing and hearing now, they are certainly doing it here.

So with everything above in mind, can we at least offer up some sort of progress report? Well, speaking recently per Deadline, Zosia herself in Karolina Wydra offered up the following when it comes to just how much (or how little) she actually knows at this point:

… They’re breaking the season, and that’s what’s beautiful: Vince needs his time. You see in his end result, the attention to such detail to tell the story that he wants to tell, and he doesn’t want to be rushed just to put things out there.

The other day, we were at PaleyFest with [writer/director/EP] Gordon Smith and [writer/co-executive producer] Jean Carroll. I’m like [with a raspy voice], ‘You guys, something? Anything? Any crumbs? Ideas?’ They’re like, ‘Sorry, babe, no.’

But I’m excited. I can’t wait to be reunited again, because I’m just dying to be with the whole cast. [It’s like] when you have a favorite author that comes up with their next book, and you just can’t wait. I am curious where Zosia’s background [is from]. I might ask him, maybe, but I might not. I’m curious where that ending goes…

The ending that Wydra mentions here is seemingly the one where Carol manages to get an atom bomb for whatever purpose she deems fit. This started as a joke, and now it turns into something that could be important as we inch forward.
