The Audacity season 2 premiere date hopes over at AMC
Following the big finale today on AMC, what more is there to say regarding The Audacity season 2? Is the Silicon Valley-based drama coming back for more?
There are certainly a lot of things that we can celebrate here, but let’s just begin with the fact that another chapter of the show is 100% coming. The series, which stars the likes of Billy Magnussen, Sarah Goldberg, Zach Galifianakis, Lucy Punch, Simon Helberg and Rob Corddry, will be back for another chapter. We imagine that this is a huge move for a network that is clearly working to try and find a new footing for itself with original non-franchise shows beyond what it has with The Walking Dead and the Anne Rice universes.

In a statement per Deadline, here is some of what executive producer Jonathan Glatzer had to say:
“From the start, The Audacity exists because Kristin Dolan, Dan McDermott, and AMC Networks decided that ‘playing it safe’ is vastly overrated … They’ve enabled me and our fearless cast to dive headfirst into the deep recesses of some beautifully flawed characters, all set against the backdrop of Silicon Valley, which only happens to have the power to shape how we work, argue, date, doomscroll, etc. And now, with this second season pick-up, AMC Networks has stood by their conviction with this wholly original satire. As The Audacity‘s creator, I could not be more grateful, but also as a fan of original and slightly dangerous stories, I am ecstatic.”
As for when the next season will premiere, we are certainly hoping that the early renewal will make a 2027 launch all the more possible. The way that we view it at the moment AMC has to be competing against the likes of streaming services that often have two or three-year waits between new seasons. This can be a way to help them stand out.
