FROM season 4 episode 6: What happened to Donna?

We will be quick to admit that heading into FROM season 4 episode 6, we were immensely worried about Donna. How can you not be, especially when you think about that foreshadowing courtesy of Ethan in episode 5? If he really feels safer with her around, then the inevitable outcome here is going to be that she dies and then everyone panics. She is the leader of Colony House and through that alone, is one of the most important people in the entire community.

Now, however, is where the show threw us for a loop in episode 6. While there was certainly a life-threatening situation around Donna, she did not die. Is she still in danger, though? You can certainly argue that.

What we ended up seeing within the story this week is Donna fall victim to seemingly not something supernatural in the town; rather, it was an affliction that can hit anyone no matter where they are. She suffered a heart attack and after being comatose for a while after the fact, she eventually woke up while alone with Boyd. We want to think that this is a sign that she can recover, but is that really the case? Given how dark and twisted FROM can be, you can make the argument that this is the town tricking them into thinking that she could be on the mend.

Or, here is another dark possibility…

What if Donna is not the same on the other side of this. For the brief moments she was gone, did something happen to her? This is a show that had Fatima pregnant with Smiley last season and once you have it going down that road, it feels like anything could be possible.
