While we have yet to see Connor Storrie make an appearance on Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19, we can still rejoice in the fact that the appearance is still coming. The Heated Rivalry star will make his debut next month and in what is a tremendous surprise, this is not just a one-episode gig … even if it was originally planned to be that way.

Anytime an actor is brought on board a show, there is a lengthy process designed to get you from point A to point B. What makes this particular one more notable is that series regular Adam Rodriguez was involved in booking him, in part due to the fact that he just so happened to be directing his debut episode.

Speaking on this subject further to TV Insider, here is what Rodriguez had to say:

“Connor really had something that I thought was exactly right for the character. We needed somebody that seemed dangerous on the surface, but that there was some vulnerability to, that there was a relatable human being underneath it because he comes in and I think you initially want to believe he’s just a bad person, but there’s more to it … Connor, for me, just instantly was my choice. I was like, ‘That’s my guy for that role.’”

One thing that is absolutely worth remembering here is that at the time Storrie was brought on board the show, Heated Rivalry had yet to become a global sensation. They managed to get Connor at just the right time and now, we are certainly eager to see what he will be able to bring to the series. Consider this rather serendipitous in that way, and hopefully it brings even more attention to the show.
