Is Boston Blue new tonight on CBS? After what you saw from the show last week, of course we recognize the desire for more. There are so many interesting stories still to tell at this point!

After all, just think for a moment about some of what we saw at the end of this past installment. Within that, we learned that Danny and Baez are going to work harder than ever to make their relationship work, even if they are in separate cities at this point. Meanwhile, at the same time Donnie Wahlberg’s character will be working to rise up the ranks at Boston PD, where he had to start in some ways from scratch after transferring over. He is a seasoned cop and yet, this is a whole new pond for him.

The unfortunate reality here is that if you are hoping to get more of Boston Blue within the relatively near future, you are going to be stuck waiting for a long time. Last week was the finale, meaning that there is no new installment tonight and will not be until we get around to late September or early October.

What do we know about the new season?

For now, there are a couple of things that are floating around out there. First and foremost, it does appear as though there is going to be a time jump between seasons, though rest assured the series will show you the immediate aftermath of that finale cliffhanger as well. Also, there is a good chance you are going to see more characters from the original Blue Bloods make an appearance, though who they are remains a mystery for now.
