Chad Powers season 2 premiere date: A May 2026 update

Is there a chance we are going to hear something more about Chad Powers season 2 between now and the end of May? This is one of those shows that certainly will want you to get more of sooner rather than later. Obviously, it has some star power courtesy of Glen Powell but beyond just that, it brings a little bit more to the table thanks to its humor and escapism.

It is true that we are in an era now where a lot of shows are off the air for years at a time, which is unbelievably frustrating for anyone out there who loves consistency. Lucky, we know that this is not going to be the case here! Filming for the upcoming season wrapped months ago, which means that the producers are probably deep into editing at this point and we are just waiting for a date to be announced.

As for whether or not that could happen this month, the simple answer is that it is unlikely. We are still a little too far out for a reveal, especially since we do not believe Chad Powers will be back until the fall. If we are lucky, our feeling is that a date will be announced in late summer, which would make all the more sense given that this is around when football season officially kicks off. There is something rather important about connected the show to that as a means of garnering attention.

We do not personally think that the second chapter of the show is going to be fundamentally different from what we saw the first time around. The way we would think about it instead is quite simple: The stakes are simply higher. There will be jeopardy — at least the entertaining kind.
