‘The Newsroom’ season 2 spoilers: Will McAvoy’s voicemail will have a role
For those of you who are major proponents of Will and Mackenzie on “The Newsroom,” you are going to get an opportunity to find out some valuable intel pretty early on at the start of the second season … at least in the form of that infamous voicemail that Jeff Daniels’ character left her while in a drug-infused haze at the end of the first season.
First of all, if you don’t know what we are talking about on this subject, the video here is probably going to do the trick in explaining it. Now, we have a little bit more in the way of scoop on the road ahead. According to TV Guide, we are going to get some sort of answer when it comes to this infamous message early on in the season.
But will these two characters actually get together in the future? It’s certainly still possible, but it is clear that they have some pretty major stumbling blocks that they still have to get over, beginning with the fact that Mackenzie cheated on him the last time that they tried a relationship, and we have clearly learned already at this point that Will is not exactly the patron saint of forgiveness.
Are you at a place with “The Newsroom” that you are rooting for Will and Mackenzie to be together? We have some more news when it comes to Olivia Munn’s role on the show moving forward, be sure to check out the story over here.
