For everyone out there who loves The Gilded Age over on HBO, how about a welcome dose of good news regarding a release date?

Ever since production first kicked off earlier this year, we have moved forward with the thinking that an early 2027 launch as the most-likely scenario for the show. That works in line with past release cycles, and it also gave the cast, crew, and producers plenty of time to make something amazing. We already tend to think the next chapter is going to be the best one yet for Bertha, largely because of what she will be dealing with in regards to a potential divorce.

Now, let’s get to some of that aforementioned good news, shall we? The aforementioned network released a sizzle reel today highlighting some of their upcoming 2026 releases and it it, surprisingly, was The Gilded Age close to the end. This makes it clear to us that a launch late this year is now the plan, even if that means sometime around November. Because this show is light on special effects compared to many other HBO releases, it may be a little easier to turn around in a short amount of time. This would also mean that the network has more time for some of its effects-heavy shows, whether it be The Last of Us or Dune: Prophecy.

As for what else we know is coming next year

It is fair to assume that this will be the release for both A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 2 in addition to The White Lotus season 4, as both have already filmed a good bit of material. Meanwhile, the jury is still out on True Detective season 5. At one point it was cemented for a launch next year, but we have not heard a lot in a rather long time.

What do you most want to see moving into The Gilded Age season 4 when it arrives?
