Presumed Innocent season 2 premiere date: A May 2026 update
Is there any chance that we are going to learn more about a Presumed Innocent season 2 between now and the end of May?
Obviously, it is worth starting off this piece here noting that in terms of production, the cast and crew are already done! This season is designed to look and feel rather different, with it featuring an all-new cast led by Rachel Brosnahan. It is also based on totally different source material, which means further that we are going to have a chance to see a story that is unique without echoing anything that has come before. We do think that is important at this point!

So given that so much progress has been made on the overall direction of the show, is it crazy to want some other intel? We hardly think so but at the same time, that does not mean it is coming anytime soon. Our hope still remains that Apple TV puts it out close to the end of the year and if that happens, we could get an actual announcement at some point close to the end of the summer.
Given just how enormously successful the first season proved to be, the one thing that we feel reasonably confident in saying is this: If you are Apple, is there any real reason at all to wait on getting this chapter out there? We tend to think that with no Pluribus or Severance coming this year, this is a show that has a really unique opportunity to dominate a lot of the press narratives in some of the later months of the year.
