Dutton Ranch season 1 episode 4: Life-changing events ahead?
As we look towards Dutton Ranch season 1 episode 14 on Paramount+ this coming Friday, are you going to see some major shifts in the overall story?
Well, on paper, it is at least easy to argue that a few singular events are going to be happening. You will be seeing Rip trying to do whatever he can to contain the possible spread of disease. Meanwhile, at the same exact time Beth has to try to keep her business dealings steady despite what is obviously a major setback.

Then, of course, there is everything that is happening with Carter and Oreana. You can argue that their relationship went to 0 to 60 really quick and within that, we did lose a certain amount of development. However, we tend to imagine that the fast pace here is tied on some level to the writers making sure that they hit some other really important spots in the narrative, ones that they do not want to rush under any circumstance.
Speaking about her own character’s trajectory in an interview with Us Weekly, here is some of what actress Natalie Alyn Lind had to say on the subject of her overall journey:
“My arc is heading in a direction that I am not going to be specific about but she starts off the season and ends it a completely different person,” Lind told Us. “There’s things that happen that change her life forever.”
To us, the most exciting thing about this storyline in particular just comes via the potential for it to move in this complicated sort of forbidden-love direction. How else do you really describe the fact that she is tied to Beulah’s family when they have been set up now to be major Dutton rivals?
