Half Man episode 6 spoilers: An extended finale?

In just a matter of days on HBO, we are going to have an opportunity to dive into Half Man episode 6. Do we know at least some of what is set to happen? Sure, and mostly through the lens of Ruben’s ultimate fate.

Think back to the closing minutes of episode 4, where we saw Richard Gadd’s character carted away. Is he dead? There is a reasonable argument to be made of that, especially due to all the pain and resentment he and Niall both harbor from their past. Ruben showed up to Niall’s wedding unprompted and in the closing minutes of episode 5, the two walked away to have what looked in some measure to be a private conversation. That could turn into an altercation and from there, lead us to one character’s ultimate demise.

If there is one thing that we can add to everything listed above at present, it is that HBO wants to give Half Man all the time necessarily to dive into all of this. As of right now, it appears as though the last episode is going to run for 74 minutes, credits included. Given that this was billed from the start to be a limited series, it does make a reasonable amount of sense here that we do have a clear beginning, middle, and end to the story. There could be more trauma and suffering beyond what we even know at present, so our advice is to emotionally steel yourself as best you can.
