‘Big Brother 15’ live feed spoilers: Amanda tries to confront Aaryn about racism
It really didn’t seem like Amanda was trying to be that confrontational at all with the way in which she went about talking to Aaryn, saying that some people were taking her comments as very offensive and that she should apologize. What was her response? That she’s not a racist, she only jokes around, and that this must mean that there is some sort of minority alliance in the house that needs to be completely flushed out.
To make matters worse, she also labeled Amanda as a minority because she is Jewish, and is angry that Amanda ever talked to her about it in the first place. She also claimed that she has to deal with people discriminating against her for being a blonde and for her looks. (Wah.) She also later went on a big tear yet again about how Nick was gay, and that how Candice (who was really speaking out about her comments to begin with) is just trying to stir up drama.
While we think that expulsion on the show should be saved for extreme cases, we’ve finally reached that point: It’s time to send this ignorant girl packing. The longer she stays on, the longer she remains a distraction; not only that, we don’t want to see her become such a PR nightmare that CBS distances themselves from “Big Brother,” and we no longer have a show at all. We don’t care about how it’s “unfair” to the game anymore. It’s time to cut the cord.
What do you think about the way in which Aaryn did not accept these comments at all, and even blew them off completely threw them back at everyone? If you want to read some more of the latest “Big Brother 15” news, you can do so by click on any of the links on the page, or by heading over here.

I want Aaryn to stay to the bitter end. “Solving” this situation by sending Aaryn home just fosters the belief among some that the U.S. is past this type of thing. It isn’t. Racism is very active in my current life. Not every day, of course. But it is a regular thing. Keep her on. Let’s all get to see the ugliness that it is, and the sanctimonious excuses the racists come up with to defend themselves (i.e., that she is called blonde, and a Barbie).

I have a hard time watching footage (broadcast & feeds) with Aaryn in them. Being a minority myself, her comments definitely struck a nerve. My wife and a few of my friends have given up on the show already. I think the network will not expel any of the racist house guests unless they get pressure from their advertisers.
