Ghosts season 6 premiere date hopes over on CBS

Heading into tonight’s Ghosts season 5 finale over on CBS, of course we are grateful to see that a season 6 is on the way. With that being said, there are a number of questions — including just when it is going to premiere.

First and foremost, we do have to point out that the schedule for the supernatural comedy is going to be a little bit different than what we have seen in the past. Technically, it is not on the official fall schedule — yet, the network is still planning to release specials themed around Halloween and Christmas this year, continuing what has been an ongoing tradition. Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is going to be joined this fall by Eternally Yours, a new vampire comedy that will air in the 8:30 p.m. Eastern timeslot.

So when could you see Ghosts season 6 proper arrive on CBS? It feels like January or February is a fairly safe bet and when the series does turn up, there is a reasonably good chance that you are going to see a string of new episodes that air without too many interruptions along the way.

Could season 6 be the final one?

Obviously, we hope that this is not the case, especially since the ratings for Ghosts are strong enough to be a long-running hit on any network out there. Whenever it does conclude, we just hope it happens in a way that the producers have a chance to come up with a fitting end. Story-wise, this is one of those ideas that could realistically go on for decades, but that almost never happens. All shows do end, and we hope that we have a chance to keep on laughing here for however long it is possible.

What are you most eager to see at this point moving into Ghosts season 6 when it does arrive?

Be sure to share right now in the attached comments! Once you do just that, remember to also come back — there are some other updates ahead as we keep moving forward.
