The Agency season 2 premiere date, new details revealed!

We know that it has been a long time since The Agency season 1 first launched — and luckily, today there is more to share about the future!

Today, the folks over at Paramount+ officially revealed that the second chapter of the spy drama is set to arrive on June 21. Unlike the first season, the entirety of the season is going to be available all at once. What is interesting is that for a stretch of time, it appeared as though the show was undergoing a title change to The Agency: Central Intelligence. However, it now appears as though that has been changed and the show is now back to its original title.

The Agency follows Martian (Fassbender), a CIA agent living undercover in his own life. Samia (Turner-Smith), his lover, is a political prisoner in Sudan, and he will do anything to try to save her, even past the point of treachery. The only way out is deeper in. A knife-edge Martian must walk if he is to save love, life, and his mission.

In the end, it remains our hope that we are going to have a chance to learn something more about these characters, while also getting a story that is intense and stuffed full of surprising, topical content. Nothing has to be necessarily inspired by true events in order to be effective, but there could be a few different echoes that end up presenting themselves in some rather interesting ways — or at the very least, that is what we hope. The first season proved to be a big success both critically and commercially, and we do not want this one to be lost in the shuffle.
