FROM season 4 episode 5 preview: The new question with Jade

As we get prepared to see FROM season 4 episode 5 on MGM+ this weekend, it makes sense that all eyes are on Jade. All things considered, how can they not be? Consider what we have seen in the promos already, clear evidence that Jade is about to begin some sort of big, mushroom-fueled trip.

Is there a chance that this could deliver him some answers? Sure, but what could make the whole idea of this story fascinating is that with every step forward, there is a chance that the community takes a few more steps back.

After all, consider the following for a moment: Not everyone has always trusted Jade from the start of the show. Sure, Boyd and Tabitha have had some discussions about him being Christopher, but is anything that he learns on this trip going to be viewed as accurate? Compare this to the real world, where if someone cam up to you claiming that their hallucinations are real, how much would you buy them? Or, would you simply opt to dismiss them outright?

A lot of this may, ultimately, be tied to what FROM and/or the Man in Yellow would be okay allowing Jade to potentially learn something through this at all. If nobody believes what he uncovers, then it could just fuel even more conflict among some of the residents. Ironically, this would be a situation that Sophia would not even have to work hard to create. We know that she’s already tried a few things when it comes to Sara, but we have not really seen as of yet where that will go. It is possible that an update or two may be coming in episode 5, but nothing is confirmed regarding that as of yet.
