Your Friends & Neighbors season 2 episode 8: Glorious irony

As we get prepared in order to see Your Friends & Neighbors season 2 episode 8 on Apple TV next week, there are a few things worth noting.
First and foremost, remember that there are only three more installments to go! Everything from here on out is about to become so much crazier, and a lot of that begins with the simple fact that Coop has been forced to head home and fast. After all, he has somehow found himself in a position where both Mel and Tori were arrested for completely different things. Despite all of the crimes that he has committed since the start of the series, he is the one able to be free. How does that go? Also, how is he going to be able to deal with all the aftermath here?

Mel and Tori face the consequences of their actions. Sam tries to end things with Ashe. Coop is caught between a rock and a hard place.
For Sam, her challenge is ultimately if she can actually extract herself from a position that is so much more complicated than she ever realized. Ashe is involved in all sorts of shady business, and he also has a hard time letting go of people once they fully learn the truth. Is he really going to do that here? Also, is Sam herself going to be able to figure out what she wants? This season has been fundamentally different from the first in a number of different ways, and that could make what is left all the more fascinating. (This is without even mentioning the dangerous spot Coop found himself in at the end of episode 7.)
