Widow’s Bay season 1 episode 5 preview: After that death…

Next week on Apple TV, we are going to have a great opportunity to dive more into Widow’s Bay season 1 episode 5. Want to get a better sense of what is ahead?

The exciting thing about the show moving forward is simply the idea that on the heels of episode 4, we recognize that there are more shifts in perspective that could be coming. Tom may still be the show’s main character, but there is room to spend time with people like Patricia. That also means, of course, other opportunities to dive into some assorted mysteries. To be specific, a part of that may be what happened with Reverend Bryce, who appears to be very-much dead after what we saw at the conclusion to this week’s story.

Just from reading that alone, it does feel fair to have a wide array of different questions. Is the next episode going to be from the perspective of a tourist? That makes at least some sense, largely due to the simple fact that they would certainly have a reaction to the bonfire and/or all the assorted chaos around town.

Meanwhile, seeing the story from Tom’s point of view now could also prove interesting, if for no other reason than him potentially being all-in on the supernatural occurrences around town. He may legitimately believe that Wyck saved him from the Hag, and that could fundamentally change everything moving forward.
