Is Will Trent new tonight on ABC? After everything we saw on last week’s episode, it makes sense to want a little bit more of the show. There is so much to discuss now when it comes to Will, Angie, and the GBI in general. After all, it appears as though we are moving forward with the show in a way where Will is going to be actively involved in her daughter’s life following Seth’s death. We also tend to think that there are more long-term cases that are going to be focused on, as well.

Now, of course, comes the bad news — you are going to be waiting a good while in order to see what is next.

For the time being, our general feeling is that we are going to be waiting until January for season 5 to premiere. There is no installment tonight, as last week served as the season 4 finale. Today ABC revealed their fall schedule and to the surprise of no one, the Ramon Rodriguez series was not a part of it. The reason why is because the network clearly values being able to air Will Trent in more of a continuous fashion without a lot of breaks in between episodes. There may be a hiatus here and there, but we anticipate that they are going to be small.

If we are lucky now, we are going to have a chance that we are going to be hearing more about season 5 come either late summer or early fall. That will give us something more to look forward to and in the wake of Amanda’s death, we certainly would not be shocked if a new cast member is brought in — or at the very least, someone who can recur.
