Is NCIS new tonight on CBS? Of course, it goes without saying that we would love some more stories through what has been a fantastic season. Whether it be McGee’s paternity surprise or the death of Leon Vance, the producers have really pulled out all the stops.

So is that about to continue? In a word, yes, but it is also bittersweet. Tonight marks the big season 23 finale, meaning that a lot of stories over the past few weeks are going to finally come to a head. There is also a chance at a big cliffhanger, mostly due to the fact that this show tends to do this in a wide array of ways. We certainly have had a ton of examples over the years!

“Sons and Daughters” – One year after a deadly coffee shop bombing, a new explosion proves the attack wasn’t the work of a lone wolf – a case that forces the team to confront legacy and loyalty, on the 23rd season finale of the CBS Original series NCIS, Tuesday, May 12 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

In general, we do tend to think that a reflective NCIS is one of the best versions of the show you are ever going to have. It allows for all of the characters to think about what they’ve gone through but beyond just that, also who they want to be.
