The Boys season 5 episode 7 promo: Marie Moreau is finally here!
This week The Boys season 5 episode 7 is set to arrive on Prime Video and after a long time waiting, one thing is finally clear: A Gen V crossover is coming around the corner!
If you head over to the link here, you can see the preview for what is to come, confirmation that Marie Moreau and Jordan Li are both finally about to come on board the flagship show. They have presumably been working with Annie since the end of season 2, but their overall importance now still remains to be seen.

With all of this said, we can at least conjure up one notable reason in our mind for why Marie would be hugely significant in the battle against Homelander: Her powers. Remember that she has the ability to remove someone’s blood so presumably, she would be able to extract the V1 from Antony Starr’s character and make him mortal once more. Getting the opportunity to do that could prove difficult, though, so that is something you do have to prepare for.
Meanwhile, the promo signals that for the first time, Hughie is starting to lose hope — he had put so much stock in the V1 that with that dashed, what more can he do? This is where Butcher claims that one way or another, he is going to drag him over the finish line — we really have to be prepared for whatever that means.
If Marie can’t kill Homelander…
At this point, it really feels like the only person who can is Soldier Boy, given his ability to take away powers. Given that he just worked in order to ensure that his son could be immortal, why take that away now?
