Sheriff Country season 1 episode 19 spoilers: Last before finale

As some out there may be aware at this point, you are going to be seeing Sheriff Country season 1 episode 19 arrive on CBS next week. What more can we say about it?

Well, first and foremost, we do really think we have to take a larger look at events from a guest-star perspective. How can you not, given that country star Maren Morris is going to be a part of the story? The extended Fire Country universe does have a history of musicians taking on acting roles, so we can’t be that shocked to get something like that here. What we also like about Morris’ role in particular is that in theory, it is one that she could come back for down the line — depending of course on how the story plays out.

“Compromised” – Sheriff Mickey Fox aids a federal investigation into a high-stakes case involving alleged interstate crime and a web of local land deals. GRAMMY® Award-winner Maren Morris guest stars as Hazel, Skye’s sponsor, on SHERIFF COUNTRY, Friday, May 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

No matter what happens over the course of this hour, do not be shocked if there is a cliffhanger at the end. After all, this installment is the penultimate one of the season — after that, all we have is the May 22 finale, and that could contain a surprise ending of its own. The Morena Baccarin drama has already been renewed for a season 2, so it is nice to at least not have to worry about that.
