The Boys season 5 episode 7 spoilers: Last before finale

As we get prepared in order to see The Boys season 5 episode 7 on Prime Video, isn’t there a good bit to be excited about?

First and foremost here, we do have to begin with where things stand in the grand scheme of things, including the simple fact that there are only two more stories remaining. We do believe that on some level, we are going to be seeing things escalate. We are obviously starting off here in a pretty desperate spot thanks to Homelander now becoming immortal thanks to the V1. On paper, it feels like there is no longer a way to properly stop him.

So is that really going to end up being the case? This is where things get tricky since for The Boys, the question is now how you can kill the unkillable — what was the point of the supe virus now? Homelander also does not even need the Seven or any other people at his side now, which makes him so much more dangerous than ever before. The Deep just killed Black Noir, so that’s one more person out the window. We imagine that Chace Crawford’s character may have to kiss up to him more than ever before … unless he develops a spine and decides to fight back.

No matter what happens here, it is our general feeling that the events of this story are going to connect over to the finale. That is the thing that makes the most sense, but we also hope that there is more of a proper endgame for the show and not so much just the people we have seen a lot of as of late. Take, for example, Soldier Boy — we love Jensen Ackles, but he has a full prequel to tell his own story further.
