The Hunting Party season 2 episode 13 (finale): Elizabeth Gillies returns

In just under one week you are going to be getting to see The Hunting Party season 2 episode 13 — can you believe the finale is almost here? This is a chance to not only see an action-packed story and get some answers, but also to see some Pit prisoners we’ve had a chance to watch before.
After all, isn’t it fair to be excited about the return of Elizabeth Gillies as Amanda Weiss? We do appreciate the idea that some of these procedural foes will be sticking around longer, as it does add more levity to the story as a whole.

05/07/2026 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Thursday) : Bex and the team must hunt down escaped inmate Xander Wax (John Corbett), a killer with a knack for poisoning through unpredictable methods. Things back at the Command Center come to a head, pushing the team further than they’ve ever been before. TV-14
Obviously, getting to see this sort of dark turn from Corbett should be exciting, especially coming out of seeing him for a stretch as Aidan on And Just Like That.
Will there be a cliffhanger?
Given the nature of this show, obviously we tend to think there is a good chance of that. We hope that there can be at least something that engages the fandom as we wait for a season 3 decision.
With that being said, we also do not want something that is so open-ended in the event the series gets canceled, mostly because that does feel like a distinct possibility right now. The ratings are lower than a lot of other scripted NBC shows, and we have not seen a lot of evidence that the first season airing on Netflix has really moved the needle.
