‘Teen Wolf’ season 3, episode 6 review: Jennifer and Derek get close; Scott doubts himself
To say that Monday night’s all-new episode of “Teen Wolf” was dramatic would be an understatement. There was death, creepiness, Derek getting frisky while moving towards death, and a motel that really did a pretty good job of driving everyone insane.
The primary victim of the insanity this week, at least in our eyes, was Scott. All of the terror in this world was finally starting to get in his head, and he unraveled before our eyes, literally to the point where he stood out in the street and wondered whether or not his life was really worth living. He tried to remember what his life was like before the bite, and how much he missed those days of being completely anonymous.
On the Jennifer and Derek front, we’re figuring out from Twitter that this is clearly the most polarizing hook-up that the show has seen in quite some time. Derek managed to recover, but we’re sure that Scott would’ve liked to have known this information in the middle of his freakout! Just a thought.
Another interesting thought here came at the end of the episode, where it was revealed that the reason why all of this insanity occurred in the first place was because of a simple whistle, rigged with wolfsbane, that was poisoning them all. So now, it is back to normalcy … until of course the Alpha pack shows back up to cause some major drama moving forward.
Overall, this was a very powerful hour of television, made of course all the more intriguing by the fact that the biggest shockers of this season really are still to come.
