‘Under The Dome’ episode 3 review: Big Jim and Barbie join forces

Under the DomeThis week’s episode of “Under the Dome” picked up right where it left off, with the town of Chester’s Mill coming together to put out a fire and the accidental death of a cop.

After Paul (a cop) shoots a fellow officer by accident when his bullet ricocheted off of the dome Linda throws him in a cell, but when he tricks Linda into opening the cell he knocks her over, locks her in and takes off. Jim finds Linda and lets her out, but when she realizes that he’s taken a rifle, she knows there’s trouble and heads out after him. Jim forms a search party to find Paul (including Barbie) and quickly realizes that Barbie is military. They find Paul and he starts shooting at the party, injuring one of them, so Jim suggests the rest of the team leave and he and Barbie go after Paul. When Jim finally finds Paul we learn that Jim’s obsession with Paul is personal, and it’s not just him being a hero and bringing him to justice, but when Paul pulls a gun on Jim, Linda jumps in to save the day taking him down with one shot.

Junior still has Angie locked up in the bomb shelter and she tries to use his feelings against him, suggesting that they could find a way out from under the dome and start again. He takes the bate and goes to check out the tunnels that they used to go make out in that leads out from Chester’s Mill into another town, but when Julia notices what he’s doing she follows closely behind. Junior finds that the Dome goes far down into the earth and has closed off the tunnel.

Norrie has ditched her mothers and asks Joe to stay with him, but when his friend starts inviting all the kids over to use his generator things quickly get out of control. When the generator blows everyone bails, and now Joe is left without power. When Norrie and Joe touch hands they both go into the same seizures they hand before chanting the same verses about pink stars falling.
