High Potential season 3 premiere date: An April 2026 update

Is there a chance that we are going to hear anything more about a High Potential season 3 between now and the end of April?

First and foremost, we should state here that there is so much that the new season will have to focus on from the get-go, especially when you think about the big Wagner-centric cliffhanger at the end of season 2. Even if he survives, Steve Howey is not returning as a series regular — there is a chance for some big twist to come here as a result. Prepare for almost everything.

Unfortunately, one thing that we cannot prepare for right now is an opportunity to learn something about when exactly the Kaitlin Olson series will return. ABC could announce their fall schedule at some point before at least the middle of May, and there is a chance that High Potential will be back in its same September timeslot. However, getting an exact date, at least in the near future, feels unlikely. Odds are, something more specific is going to be revealed when we get around to June or July.

In the event, the biggest thing to hope for here is simply the fact that the show remembers everything that it brought to the table the first two go-arounds. Of course, we are going to be seeing some long-term stories play out but at the same time, the bread and butter of the show is really the case of the week. We have a hard time, at least for now, thinking that it is going to be deviating from that too much within the relatively near future.
