Next week on CBS, you are going to have a chance to dive into Marshals season 1 episode 9 — so what more can we say about the story?

Well, first and foremost, let’s just hope that “Blowback” ends up being one of the more notable episodes that we have a chance to see in a good while. It is one thing to dive back to the Yellowstone days of one Kayce Dutton but for the sake of this episode, we are actually going a little bit further than that. This is going to be a chance to see more of how he handled some time in the military, while also dealing and trying to grapple with some present-day challenges at the same exact time.

To get a few more details on what is ahead, be sure to check out the Marshals season 1 episode 9 synopsis below:

“Blowback” – The Marshals go manhunting after receiving a tip that a dangerous fugitive is on the loose. Kayce and Cal struggle to reckon with their time at war when a former SEAL brother, Garrett (Riley Green), drifts back into their lives as they hunt a vicious enemy, on the CBS Original series MARSHALS, Sunday, April 19 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

We do tend to think that this story is going to be action-packed and plenty of fun, but there is of course a larger question to ask: Are we going to see something build towards the finale? We know that the series is coming back for more but at the same time, are the stakes going to get higher before we get there?
