Alien: Earth season 2 spoilers: Peter Dinklage signs on
As we do prepare to see Alien: Earth season 2 arrive over on FX, we have the first bit of major casting news — and with that, reason for excitement.
According to a new report from Deadline, you are going to be seeing Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones, Dexter: Resurrection) sign on as a series regular. There is no major information out there about the actor’s role as of yet, but this comes after the actor was potentially tapped to star in a new version of Poker Face, provided that a network or streaming service opted to pick it up. (For the time being, there is no information out there regarding that it will have a second life.)

For those who have yet to hear, filming for the next chapter of Alien: Earth is going to be kicking off this fall in the United Kingdom, and we do believe that this is going to be a fairly long and drawn-out process. After all, this is a highly ambitious show with a lot of locations and an extensive post-production process. We would be rather shocked in the event we see the show back before we get back to 2027.
Is Dinklage likely to be joined by some other big-name actors? Let’s just say that we would not be altogether shocked, but there is not a lot of major insight about that as of yet. Because of the show’s nature, we tend to think that FX will be inclined to at least keep a few things a secret for however long they want. They do not have to rush along anything, especially since Dinklage will get people really excited on his own.
