‘True Blood’ season 6, episode 5 preview: Alexander Skarsgard’s Eric fights back
This week on “True Blood” season 6, we had quite a few stunners over the course of the hour, culminating in what were two major events. In the first, we had the opportunity to learn that it is actually Ben who is Warlow, and not Rutger Hauer’s character of Niall as so many thought moving into this season. Then, we saw that it was Sarah Newlin of all people who managed to throw a major wrench into Eric Northman’s master plan.
So what is the next move for Alexander Skarsgard’s character? If we had to summarize it with just a sentence, what we would say is this: He is going to really be out for blood (literally and figuratively) now that both Willa and Pam are in the possession of the new vampire police. He may even have a little bit of help.
Meanwhile, Sookie is really going to have her showdown with Warlow, who is about to figure out just what happens when someone takes out layer after layer of vampire scorn. Meanwhile, Sheriff Andy is going to likely feel betrayed in his own way, after learning that Jessica has possibly murdered all four of his daughters after losing control and sucking all of them dry following their attempt at escaping from their residence.
As for the only other major storyline we can tease, Alcide and the werewolves are not going to settle for what Sam Merlotte and the shifters did to them, and we just hope this weak-link storyline picks up pretty soon.

I don’t think Willa was worthy of being turned by Eric, but I don’t think he should have sent her home either. He knows better than anyone that newborn vamps have no control at all. I’m afraid that Truman will only amp up his vendetta against vampires now. Was this a desparate move for Eric or is he really trying to get back at the governor? I hope that the relationship between Eric and Willa will grow, Eric said himself that it is stronger than any human bond. I hope it’s Eric that takes Sarah Newlin out. But if not him, then Steve Newlin. I hate her!
