Survivor 50 episode 6 spoilers: What makes it even more epic?

If you have seen any of the previews out there for Survivor 50 episode 6 next week on CBS, there are a few things you may know already. Take, for starters, that we’re gearing up for what may be a memorable Tribal Council like you have never seen before!

When it comes to the finer details, the network and producers are keeping things reasonably under wraps. The biggest things we have confirmation on right now are that we are going to be seeing a situation here where the castaways will get new buffs and there is a presumption the merge is here. Yet, the New Era of the game is all about fake-outs around this part of the game, and that could easily be the case here. We could see multiple Tribal Councils, a number of people voted off, or simply a ton of idols and drama all across the board.

If there is anything we can say with some element of strength, it is this: CBS knows that they have something big here. After all, why else would we be getting a two-hour episode at this point in the season? This is neither the premiere nor the finale, and it is highly unusual that we would have a random 120-minute block right in the middle of the season. This signals mostly that producers are aware that they have a ton of footage here, and they will need a lot of this time to deliver some great stuff.

Will there be any more extended episodes this season?

Well, at the very least, it is easy to assume that we are going to have a three-hour finale event as we often do. There could be another two-hour block at some point, but we really hope that this is just content dependent.
