Is Saturday Night Live new tonight on NBC? We certainly understand why there would be a desire to see more of the sketch show at this point. There is definitely a lot of source material for the series to lampoon, right?

Unfortunately, this is where we do have to share the bad news here: For the second straight week, we are right in the middle of a break. It is fairly standard for SNL to be on a break this time of year, largely due to the fact that there is college basketball competition — also, the show tens to take a couple of weeks off after they do a run of three straight episodes.

Now if there is any sort of good news to share at this given point, it is that we will be getting a chance to see more episodes before too long. Here is what we can say about some of those right now.

April 4 – In what has to be a great bit of intentional comedy, Jack Black is going to be returning to Studio 8H for this episode, where he will be joined by musical guest Jack White. We certainly expect that the obvious joke will be made plenty of times leading up to the episode.

April 11 – Colman Domingo, whose credits include everything from Euphoria to The Four Seasons to Fear the Walking Dead, will be making his hosting debut. He’s spent a lot of time with Tina Fey, so won’t she have handed over some good advice? Anitta will be serving as the musical guest over the course of this particular episode.
