Is Law & Order new tonight on NBC, March 26, 2026?

Is Law & Order new tonight on NBC? We knew that the show was in repeats last week, potentially due to the NCAA Tournament as competition. (The network wants to keep the ratings as strong as possible here!)
So is there a chance that we are going to see the cast and crew back here? Well, let’s just say that this is where some of the bad news does come into play: We are going to be waiting a little while longer. The plan is for new episodes to start airing on April 2 and luckily, we do know that there is a lot to look forward to! You are going to see more of the intense cases we’ve come to know and love but beyond just that, also a few character arcs that could send some people down some rather fascinating roads.

As for what is coming up beyond these…
We do recognize that technically, there is no official renewal as of yet for season 26 — but we remain very-much hopeful. Personally, it feels like there are a lot of discussions happening and we’re just waiting for the right time for something to be revealed.
